Gambling?

I wonder: Would I be able to make a living as a gambler?

I would not say that I'm extremely lucky at any games or otherwise, but I would say that I've gotten the hang of a particular game.

I guess, if I do decide to quit my job, I would go into gambling full time? Lolz!

Right now, I just wish to get away, from work, from the house, from reality. I want to just spend my time lazing around, and find myself.

I NEED TO.

Let's Fly, Let's Fly!

Jetstar's having their 5th Birthday celebration and they're having a 'Bring a Friend' promo.

I've just booked 3 trips (Macau, Darwin & Phuket) based on this promo alone! Remember to book your trip before 15Oct09 to grab the special offer!

I had wanted to go to Australia for 2 weeks, in which I could fly domestic to New Zealand. Unfortunately, Val is not able to travel for such a long time as she will be going for another trip to Australia in July. =( Oh well, there's always the next time round!

2010, come quick! =D

Arcade

Sometimes just spending a day in a place that brings back fond memories is a good thing.

I just spent 2 hours over e weekend in an arcade, playing games like House of the Dead, as well as some Japanese games whereby it tests one's motor skills.

As per always, I would scream and hop about whenever I play games, and this time round, it is no exception. Well, let's just say that I had so much fun that I wish that the 20¢ per token arcade still exists in Bedok, such that I could just splurge in an afternoon of happiness. Or the one at Marine Parade/East Coast area that my dad used to bring us to.

It was actually chance that caused me to have so much fun, but I'm glad that I was there with someone who knew how to have fun.

Oh boy, and the fact that we got tickets that we could exchange for something is so thrilling! Lolz...

What To Know About Men

What Our Daughters Should Know About Men
(Or rather, what Women should know about Men):
  1. If you’re paranoid he’s cheating, then you don’t trust him and the relationship should be over.
  2. Going down isn’t shameful.
  3. Learn how to satisfy yourself sexually.
  4. Men are powerless in the face of female sexuality.
  5. Be honest and upfront about your feelings, and demand the same from men.
  6. Don’t try to change a man.
  7. If he’s annoying when you’re dating, then he’ll be annoying when you’re married.
  8. The first time he hits you is the last time he hits you, because you leave.
  9. “Perfect couples” have troubles too, so don’t compare your relationship to othe relationships too much.
  10. If he’s not willing to work on the relationship, then he’s not invested in it.
  11. Flirting with other women in your presence is disrespectful and shouldn’t be tolerated.
  12. It’s OK to sleep with multiple men at the same time, as long as you’re honest with them and safe about it.
  13. The STD talk really isn’t that difficult to have.
  14. Keeping your man sexually satisfied will do wonders for your relationship.
  15. You both should be able to say “I’m sorry.”
  16. If he can’t laugh at himself, he’s too uptight.
  17. A man who cooks you breakfast in bed, gives you foot rubs, goes shopping with you or accompanies you to a rom-com is worth his weight in gold.
  18. Mama’s boys are unlikely to prioritize your wants and needs above their mom’s wants and needs.
  19. Always trust your gut.
  20. Expressing strong emotions doesn’t make you crazy.
  21. Don’t bother overanalyzing him. His reasoning is likely very simple.
  22. Be able to take it as much as you dish it.
  23. Find a man that truly “cares” for you. When love and passion fade, “caring” takes over until they return again.
  24. Never waste your time with a man that makes you feel bad about yourself.
  25. You don’t owe him a thing, even if he buys you the most expensive dinner in town.
  26. Tease him. And just went he thinks he’s going to get it, tease him again.
  27. There are seven excuses for getting out of anal sex.
  28. You can’t own anyone and they can’t own you.
  29. It’s OK to just listen to him breathe sometimes.
  30. Men need to be cuddled and hugged, too.
  31. Find someone to share your life with, not fill in the gaping hole (not a vagina reference) in your life.
  32. Only you can make yourself happy.
  33. Love doesn’t hurt.
  34. Shoe shopping is great breakup therapy.
  35. Never settle.
  36. Date potential, instead of vainly searching for Mr. Perfect.
  37. Be a lesbian.

Sometimes, sometimes

Sometimes I just want to kill some people.

Sometimes I just want to strangle some people.

Sometimes I feel that if I'm not where I am, I would be a happier person.

Sometimes I just feel that it would be better if certain things or people are not around.

Sometimes I like being where I am, because I can make people's lives hell, or have my life made hell.

But most of the times, it's time to breathe in, and out, and keep the person on a 'Die, You Bloody Bugger' list! =D

15 Things we would miss about Men

15 Things we would miss about Men:
  1. Their 5 o’clock shadow.
  2. Intercourse and outercourse.
  3. How cute and vulnerable they look first thing in the morning.
  4. The way they reassure us we’re nothing like our mothers.
  5. Their ability to reach the high shelves at the grocery store.
  6. Taking it like a man when we have a PMS outburst.
  7. Their cute little nicknames for us.
  8. Reassuring us we’re nothing like the bitches their friends date.
  9. How well they lie about the size of our ass in our skinny jeans.
  10. How they always know where all the wires go.
  11. The way they look in a suit.
  12. How good they are at killing the bugs.
  13. And installing the AC window unit.
  14. The sound of their voice in the dark wishing us “good night.”
  15. The way they look holding a baby.

Tree of Life

I feel in love with the above pendant the moment I saw here.

Of course, the description for the above tree does not distract me from the beauty of the piece of work:

Wearing the Tree of Life close to our heart is a wonderful reminder for us to remain grounded in Life. Just like how a strong tree remains firmly rooted to the ground... no matter how strong the wind blows, it will never be uprooted . This is how we should live Life, to remain strongly rooted to our beliefs, to never lose sight of our values and to never give up... no matter what winds of change that blows our way.

The Tree is symbolic of Inner Strength, Growth and Abundance, hence I included Peridot stones which clears the
way for your heart to feel. It also assists in creating abundance in all areas of life, and is excellent for understanding relationships (with yourself and your surroundings) with honesty and integrity

It is also available in a combination of Citrine and Peridot stones. Citrine increases self-esteem and is a powerful alignment tool that works with the Higher Self to heal old patterns and attract abundance

It is through the creation of the Tree of Life that I pray, it will open up the gateway for you to connect with your own source of Strength and Inner Guidance. We all need Inspiration! So may this Tree of Life serve as an Inspiration to you. It makes an excellent and meaningful gift to your Self or Loved ones... a special keepsake to mark a milestone in Life , perhaps. May you cherish it as much as I do to mine :)

However, the above pictured pendant is the creator's personal one... I've requested her to make one that is very much similar to hers, let's keep our fingers crossed! ;)
